The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) conducted an online convocation ceremony on June 13, considering the restrictions imposed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. According to the reports, IIM Indore organised the 21st and 22nd convocation ceremonies on Sunday. The online ceremony was conducted to award degrees to the students who have graduated from the institute in 2020 and 2021. IIM Indore virtual convocation was also streamed live from 10 am on the IIM Indore website, i.e. iimidr.ac.in.

The IIM Indore’s 21st and 22nd convocation address was delivered virtually by the Chairman and Managing Director of Nestle India Suresh Narayanan. While the 21st convocation of IIM Indore conferred degrees to the students graduating from the institute in 2020, the 22nd convocation awarded the degrees to the 2021 graduating batch. The IIM Indore convocation in its 22nd edition conferred degrees to a total of 698 participants from seven flagship programmes. As many as 741 students from eight flagship programmes received their degrees as part of the 21st IIM Indore convocation.

In all 1,439 students of the Indian Institute of Management Indore graduated in the 21st and 22nd convocations. During the ceremony, Narayanan shared with students his mantra of 6Cs - character, confidence, courage, competence, curiosity and contentment; which helped him in his journey so far.
"Character is a unison of purpose, values, behaviour and outcomes. When your purpose in life translates into trustworthy, positive and empathetic behaviour, it creates an impact. It is important that you do not lose sight of the individual you are and recognize the strength you have in yourself, for that will make you an outstanding person,” he added.
