IIM Indore signs MoU with government of Madhya Pradesh to help industries
According to the reports, the MoU would help industries to do business with ease in the state.
The Indian Institute of Management Indore and the government of Madhya Pradesh signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to help industries in the state do business with ease. According to the reports, the MoU was signed by the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Indore director Professor Himanshu Rai and Sanjay Shukla, principal secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department on behalf of Madhya Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (MPSIDC), an official said. Rai said the MoU would help industries to do business with ease in the state, while Shukla said it was an important step for attaining a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, IIM Indore and the Ayodhya municipal corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an agenda of developing the Uttar Pradesh city as an international tourist centre. According to an official, the MoU is signed in view of the construction of the Ram Temple there. The reports suggest that IIM Indore director Himanshu Rai and Ayodhya municipal corporation commissioner Vishal Singh signed the understanding memorandum with an aim to beautify the city by incorporating the best practices that have made Indore win the cleanest city award under the Centre's 'Swachh Survekshan' drive in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Talking about the MoU, the civic chief Vishal Singh added, "We wish to develop Ayodhya as a world-class city from the religious point of view. The MOU with IIM Indore will help us achieve this goal. The MOU will start getting implemented in Ayodhya from January 14, coinciding with Makar Sankranti."
