IIM Jammu’s holistic 5-day Orientation Program for new batches starts today

IIM Jammu has commenced a holistic 5-day orientation program for the upcoming batches from today, July 12 and it will end on July 16, read here to know more. 

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has organised a holistic 5-day orientation program for the 3rd batch of PhD (2022-25), 7th batch of MBA (2022-24), batch of EMBA (2022-24), and for the 1st batch of MBA (HA&HM) (2022-24) from July 12 to July 16, 2022. 

The programme is formally inaugurated today. Prof BS Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, delivered the welcome address. Dr Milind Kamble, Chairman, BoG, IIM Jammu, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. 

More details of IIM Jammu’s Orientation Program

The program is being held in offline mode with all necessary precautions against COVID-19, ensuring the safety of everyone. The idea associated with this program is to acquaint the incoming students with the culture, academic opportunities, ethos, and general rules of IIM Jammu. The programme will help in facilitating a welcoming environment for the new aspiring students and their families to meet and have open communication with the faculty, staff, senior students, and all key activity heads of the institute under one roof.

Each day of the orientation program will commence at 6:00 AM with ‘Maximize Happiness and Mindfulness’ sessions conducted by TBF, Yoga, and meditation trainer. 

The orientation program will also feature campus visits of the students to IIM Jammu’s state-of-the-art campus coming up at Jagti along with cultural programs by students of IIM Jammu.

Top bureaucrats, industry speakers, and corporate leaders are also invited to address the new batch and motivate them for their academic journey at IIM Jammu.
