IIM Ranchi admissions 2021 begins for PhD programme, last date to apply is March 26

Candidates can submit the applications online at https://www.iimranchi.ac.in/p/phd. The last date to submit applications is March 26, 2021. The application fee for SC/ST/PWD applicants are Rs. 500. For others, it is Rs. 1000.

IIM Ranchi Admissions 2021: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi begins the admission application process for its Doctoral Programme (PhD) in Management for 2021. IIM Ranchi offers PhD in Economics, Accounting & Finance, Business Ethics, General Management-Business Law, Information Systems & Business Analytics, Regulatory Environment & Business Communication, Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Management. Candidates can submit the applications online at https://www.iimranchi.ac.in/p/phd. The last date to submit applications is March 26, 2021. The application fee for SC/ST/PWD applicants are Rs. 500. For others, it is Rs. 1000.

IIM Ranchi PhD Admissions Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the IIM Ranchi PhD programme, candidates must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any recognized institution (i) Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first class (ii) BTech/ 4 Years Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent (iii) Any professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS with a BCom/ Degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.

Along with this, applicants must have a minimum of 55% or equivalent in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process. Those appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply provisionally. Applicant must not be more than 55 years of age as of June 30, 2021.

Meanwhile, a valid CAT score is also required. GATE, GRE, GMAT or NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) qualified candidates can also apply in the relevant area of specialization. Those who have already obtained a one/two-year full-time classroom-based Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or in any specialized area of management (e.g., PGD in HRM, Agri-Business Management etc.) from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent in last four years preceding June 30, 2021 are exempted from this requirement.

Shortlisting of candidates will be based on their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations. These candidates will then be called for a seminar and personal interview for final selection in April/May 2021 and the successful candidates will receive admission offer by the end of May 2021.
