IIM Ranchi summer internship drive 2021 concludes with 100% placement

According to the official data released by the management institute, all 326 first-year students of IIM-Ranchi acquired summer-internship assignments through campus offers barring two who got their offers off-campus.

IIM-Ranchi Summer Internship 2021: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi concluded its summer internship placement drive with an overwhelming response. According to the official data released by the management institute, all 326 first-year students of IIM-Ranchi acquired summer-internship assignments through campus offers barring two who got their offers off-campus. Reports suggest that around 134 companies, including Aditya Birla Paints, Britannia, Capgemini, Cognizant, Cummins, DE Shaw, Deloitte, Emami Agrotech, Flipkart, Google, ICICI Bank and JP Morgan - participated in the IIM Ranchi online internship placement drive organised by the institute.

Taking about the pleasing response IIM Ranchi received during the summer internship placement drive despite the ongoing pandemic situation adversely affecting the economic growth, the institute said, "The average stipend for the MBA batch has been increased by 2% and stands at Rs 97,502 for the two-month-long internship. The average stipend for MBA HR students is 1,00,694, which is again higher than last year."

Following the precautionary laid down by the health ministry in order to contain the COVID-19 spread, the placement drive was organised via virtual mode. The management said that despite the uncertainties posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the entire summer internship assignment was conducted smoothly online under the supervision of the IIM's placement cell.

Meanwhile, IIM Ranchi commenced the admission application process for the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program for 2021-23. According to the official reports, the management school will begin the executive MBA programme in May 2021. IIM Ranchi is set to commence this two-year PG degree program in Management for working executives and professionals. The programme consists of online modules (approximately 70% of delivery) with weekend online classes (on Saturdays and Sundays only) and Residential Modules (approximately 30% of delivery) with Physical Classes (9 days per term at IIM Ranchi).

Candidates interested in IIM Ranchi Admissions 2021 must note that that the applications can be submitted online. The last date to submit the application online is March 20, 2021.
