K J Somaiya Institute of Management, under Somaiya Vidyavihar University, has opened admissions for eighth batch of its Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Working Executives programme in collaboration with TimesPro. This 15-month programme is designed for working professionals who want to improve their management skills, develop leadership abilities and advance their careers along with continuing their jobs.

This blended learning programme focuses on strategic thinking, communication, decision-making, critical thinking and leadership development. It aims to help mid-career professionals understand changing business needs and prepare for new responsibilities.

Programme Highlights for MBA for Working Executives

K J Somaiya Institute of Management MBA for Working Executives will be delivered through TimesPro's Direct-to-Device mode. Participants can attend live online classes conducted by faculty members and industry experts on weekends. This programme also includes a three-day campus immersion at institute.

This course is spread across three semesters and includes 600 hours of learning. The first two terms focus on core management subjects and third trimester allows learners to specialise in their chosen fields. The programme also offers an Early Exit and Re-join option.

Students can choose from finance, strategy, data science and artificial intelligence (AI), operations, marketing, business analytics and human resource management. Additionally, learners will receive access to eight Generative AI for Managers modules from TimesPro at no extra cost.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA for Working Executives at K J Somaiya Institute of Management

Candidates must meet these eligibility requirements to apply for MBA programme

• They must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline

• Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA

• Those with CA, ICWA or CS qualifications and a minimum aggregate score of 50% after graduation may also apply

• They must have at least three years of full-time work experience

MBA programme is for professionals from banking and financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, information technology, education, sales and marketing industries. Past batches have included professionals with three to more than 15 years of experience, creating opportunities for peer learning and professional networking.
