Amid heavy rains, Kurukshetra University exams postponed till July 13, 2023. Reportedly the exam was postponed after many students from different states had reached the exam centre.

Kurukshetra University postpones exams till July 13

Of late, due to heavy rains, many states closed their schools and colleges. In line with the same, the Haryana education department issued a circular that stated that the Kurukshetra University exams are postponed till July 13th.

The circular reads, "Due to heavy rains, all the examinations of Kurukshetra University have been postponed till July 13," as reported by Free Press Journal.

There is flood-like situation in many districts of the state, and the government has issued a red alert. People's houses have been flooded due to the rise in water level of the Ghaggar, Tangri and Markanda rivers.

The circular said that all KU exams are postponed till July 13 but the entrance exams for the university will be held as per the pre-decided schedule. Further details of the exam will be notified on the university's website.

KU is to release the M.Tech. first list on July 21, and the fees deposit and verification of documents will be on done July 24, 2023. The final list will be out by August 8, 2023.

"After the third list, the interested applicants who are otherwise eligible and whose names either have not appeared in any of the list or have appeared in the list but failed to deposit their dues, must mark their attendance online by paying fee of INR 100 on the admission portal. Candidates whose result of final semester/year is awaited can also apply. Such candidates have to upload the DMCs of the semesters that is first to penutimate semester," reads the official notification.
