Lucknow University Admissions 2021: Technical glitch causes trouble during counselling

Candidates were not able to pay the choice filling fees nor could proceed to lock choices even after multiple attempts. During online counselling the issue was faced by hundreds of the students.

Lucknow University Admissions 2021: Lucknow University online counselling for admission to over 10 undergraduate courses is underway. However, many students have complained that they faced a lot of trouble while locking their subject and college of their choice as Lucknow University's online admission website remained unresponsive due to technical glitches. 

Candidates were not able to pay the choice filling fees nor could proceed to lock choices even after multiple attempts. During online counselling the issue was faced by hundreds of candidates. Over 4,000 seats were open for counselling and all the candidates who qualified for the test were eligible for locking the choices.

Lucknow University Online Counselling Window 2021 for BA, BSc (Biology) and BSc( Mathematics) opened at 10 am. For candidates of BBA, BJMC, BSc (Agriculture), BElEd, LLB (Integrated), BVoc, BCA, BFA/BVA, BCom and BCom (Honours), the counseling was started on September 22 and Sunday was the last date to lock choices.

Several candidates also complained that they couldn't even cross the second step of the online counselling after logging in at the Lucknow University's Admission 2021 portal entering their credentials. It must be noted that a candidate has to complete seven steps during the online counselling for the choice filling of subject and college.

The candidate in the first step will have to submit bank and qualification details. In Second step, the candidate has to pay the counselling fees of Rs 700 that has to be submitted only after it a candidate is allowed to upload documents, to fill college choice, select major subjects then the minor subject in a UG course thereafter final submission is accepted.
