MKU Admissions 2021: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), on December 5, through an official notification, announced the extension of the last date of admissions for its 25 Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) courses for the academic year 2020-2021. According to the notification, the last date for submitting the application for admission to the courses by online and offline mode is December 31.

Madurai Kamaraj University Admissions 2020 began in the month of October. Along with this, admission in DDE, Palakalai Nagar Campus, MKU Evening Colleges at OutPost - Alagar Kovil Road, Theni, Dindigul, Periyakulam and Palani, MKU constituent colleges Thirumangalam, Vedasanthur, Sathur and Aruppukottai also commenced in October.

The University has strictly directed the students not to approach any other admission centres or agents. Students interested in MKU Admissions can visit the official website of the DDE – MKU, i.e. https://mkuniversity.ac.in/dde/ for any updates regarding admissions. Students must note that the subjects and syllabi of all 25 programmes at the DDE are to be conducted on par with the regular mode. A credit system is also introduced instead of marks. The DDE – MKU is one of the few recognized Tamil Nadu universities that has received approval for Distance Education admission for this academic year. Considering the ongoing pandemic situation, seminar classes for students will be conducted during weekends through online until the pandemic ends. Following this, the classes will be held offline.
