MUHS Exam 2021: The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has decided to make the COVID-19 negative report mandatory for all the students who are due to appear for the medical exams that are slated to commence soon. In order to appear for MUHS Exams 2021 to be held by the university from June 10, 2021, to June 30, 2021, students will have to produce a negative RT-PCR Report.

MUHS has taken the decision to make negative RT-PCR reports mandatory for the students who are due to appear for the exams in line with the Bombay HC. The Bombay High Court bench was hearing a petition filed by Amol Deshmukh and Nitest Tantarpale who were seeking a postponement of the undergraduate and postgraduate MBBS, MD, and BHMS examinations of MUHS. During that hearing, Bombay HC had refused to order a stay on the offline exams of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

However, during the same hearing, Bombay HC also asked the university to make RT-PCR reports mandatory for the students appearing for the examination. HC also ruled that in case a student finds difficulty in producing RT-PCR negative reports, they can produce Rapid Antigen Test Report initially, but the student would have to produce RT-PCR Reports by June 15, 2021.
