Nagpur University to conduct backlog exams via online, offline and mixed mode
According to the special rules set by the Nagpur University (RTMNU) regarding the conduction of summer 2020 exams, a backlog student can start with either mode of exam.
Nagpur University Backlog Exams 2020: Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) or Nagpur University is scheduled to conduct the summer 2020 examinations for backlog students of various programs through different modes, i.e. online, offline, or mixed mode. However, the University is yet to announce the official schedule of the examinations. According to the special rules set by the Nagpur University (RTMNU) regarding the conduction of summer 2020 exams, a backlog student can start with either mode of exam. However, if a student encounters any problem with their respective mode, then they can switch from online to offline or vice-versa.
The decision is taken only for backlog students who have cleared their final year exams. However, due to COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown, NU Summer Exam 2020 were cancelled, and students couldn’t appear for their backlog exams. Nagpur University cancelled the Summer Exams 2020 in the wake of the ongoing pandemic situation. Following which, the university decided to merge summer and winter exams. However, the schedule for winter exams is yet to be released.
Students must note that these special rules apply only for backlog students and do not apply for regular odd semester students of all programs who have taken admission in the academic year 2020-21. As NU has canceled summer exams 2020 with effect to COVID-19 pandemic situation. Now, odd semester students who were to appear for supplementary exams of all the programs in summer 2020 will be appearing in the forthcoming examinations. Students whose examinations were partially conducted before lockdown are also supposed to appear in the upcoming examination.
