National Institute of Design Admission 2021 begins! Know where and how to apply
In order to be eligible for NID admissions, candidates are required to qualify the design aptitude test (DAT) prelims and main exams.
National Institute of Design Admissions 2021: The National Institute of Design (NID) commenced the admission application process for the bachelor's and master's courses including BDes and MDes on its official website, i.e. admissions.nid.edu. Interested students must note that the last date to apply for NID Admissions 2021 is on or before February 7, 4 pm. Admissions are open across NID campuses including Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Assam. In order to be eligible for NID admissions, candidates are required to qualify the design aptitude test (DAT) prelims and main exams. NID admissions 2021 preliminary exam will be held on March 14. However, the institute is yet to announce the dates for the main exam. Those who clear both the exams will be allowed to appear for NID 2021 counselling sessions. The seat allotment will be conducted based on merit, through counselling.
NID Admissions 2021, BDes DAT prelims will be of three hours duration test for 100 marks. It is a pen and paper test in English. The MDes DAT prelims will consist of aptitude as well as discipline-specific test.
How to apply for National Institute of Design admissions?
Step 1: Go to the official website of NID, i.e. admissionsnid.edu
Step 2: On the homepage, click on new registration, register by giving details
Step 3: In order to proceed to the application form fill required details and Log-in
Step 4: Fill in the application form
Step 5: Upload required documents, save and exit
Step 6: Deposit requisite fee, submit

In order to submit the NID Admissions 2021 admissions form, candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 3,000. Those belonging to SC, ST category and other reserved categories are required to deposit Rs 1500 while for overseas supernumerary seats a fee of Rs 5000 will be applicable.
