NIT Warangal Convocation 2026

NIT Warangal 24th Convocation 2026: National Institute of Technology Warangal will conduct its 24th Convocation on September 19 and 20, 2026. NIT Warangal convocation will be held in two sessions, with UG graduates receiving their degrees on September 19 and PG and PhD graduates receiving their degrees on September 20. NIT Warangal degrees will be awarded to students who have completed their programmes and whose results were declared between November 11, 2025, and September 2, 2026.

NIT Warangal Convocation 2026 Dates and Schedule

The main convocation ceremony will be held at Ambedkar Learning Centre (ALC). NIT Warangal convocation programme will begin at 10:00 AM and is expected to conclude by 1:00 PM on both days.

All PhD graduates, selected UG and PG graduates, Institute gold medalists and recipients of awards for best PhD thesis, MTech dissertation and BTech project will be seated at ALC. The remaining UG and PG graduates will be seated in the Auditorium.

UG Institute gold medalists and best BTech project award recipients will receive their awards on September 19. PG Institute gold medalists and best PhD thesis and MTech dissertation award recipients will receive their awards on September 20.

NIT Warangal Convocation 2026 Registration

Graduates attending NIT Warangal convocation must complete their registration and clear all outstanding dues. Graduates with NITWAS (ERP) accounts must register through NITWAS (ERP) portal. Those without NITWAS/ERP registration and eligible PhD students must complete Google Form by September 15, 2026. Only PhD students who were issued Provisional Degree Certificates by Examination Section on or before September 2, 2026, are required to fill out Google Form.

On-Campus Registration Mandatory

On-campus registration is compulsory for all graduates attending the convocation. UG graduates receiving degrees on September 19 must complete registration by 12:30 PM on September 18. PG and PhD graduates receiving degrees on September 20 must complete registration by 12:30 PM on September 19.

NIT Warangal Convocation 2026 registration venues are:

• September 18: Seminar Halls Complex – for UG graduates

• September 19: New Academic Building (NAB) – for PG and PhD graduates

After registration, graduates will receive their Convocation Stole, official invitation, admit card and food coupons/tokens.

NIT Warangal Convocation 2026 Dress Code

Graduates must follow academic dress code

For male students

• White kurta

• White pyjama

• Convocation stole provided by NIT Warangal

• Formal shoes or sandals

For female students

• White kurta with salwar/churidar, or saree with a white or golden blouse

• Convocation stole provided by NIT Warangal

• Formal shoes or sandals

• Casual footwear or bathroom slippers will not be permitted

• Graduates will not be allowed to attend ceremony in clothing other than the prescribed dress

Important Instructions for NIT Warangal Graduates

Mobile phones, cameras and other electronic items will not be allowed inside the convocation venues. Graduates must also ensure that they complete all required registration formalities within the specified deadline.

The final list of graduates will be prepared after the registration counter closes. NIT Warangal has stated that requests to add names after the registration counter closes will not be entertained.
