Osmania University Semester Exams 2022 postponed again amid heavy rains
Osmania University (OU) has announced that all the exams that were scheduled to be conducted from July 14 to 16 have been postponed owing to heavy rainfall. The varsity has also declared holidays for all the colleges under its jurisdiction. The University announced the holidays after the state government's decision to extend the holidays in all educational institutions in the state until July 16 in wake of the forecast of heavy rainfall for the next three days. Osmania University has also announced that it will announce a fresh timetable for all the postponed examinations in due course of time. However, all those exams that were scheduled from July 18, will be held as per the schedule.
Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) has also postponed the post-graduate second-year examinations scheduled to be held on July 14 and 15. The fresh examination dates will be announced later.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)-Hyderabad has also postponed the BTech/BPharm IV year II semester regular and supplementary examinations and BTech/BPharm III year II semester II midterm exams scheduled for July 16.
The Telangana Government on Wednesday announced that it has decided to extend the holidays in all the government, aided and private educational institutions until July 16 in view of the incessant heavy rainfall across the state. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao made the announcement regarding the same. Earlier, the state government had declared a holiday for all educational institutions from July 11 to July 13 in view of heavy rains in the state.
