West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to declare the PUBDET 2025 result date soon. PUBDET result 2025 was scheduled to be announced on August 9. However, the result has been delayed. The WBJEEB authorities are expected to release the PUBDET rank card at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
When will the WBJEE 2025 result be released?
The new official PUBDET 2025 result date has not been announced yet. However, it is expected to be released by the official authorities in the last week of August 2025. Once the PUBDET result 2025 date is confirmed, the authorities will notify it on the official website. The WBJEEB will activate the PUBDET result download link once it is released. UBDET 2025 Result: Shiksha Poll Shows Most Students Expecting 40β59 Marks
As per the online Shiksha Poll, 28% of the participating students are expecting marks ranging between 40 to 59, while 20% are expecting marks between 60-74, and below 40. However, 19% students are expecting to secure between 75 to 90 marks, while 13% students are confident in scoring above 90 marks.Β
PUBDET Counselling & Admission Process
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will start the online counselling process after the PUBDET 2025 results are released..
- Counselling Schedule: The counselling dates will be announced on the official website soon after the result declaration.
- Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates must log in to their account and fill in their preferred courses and colleges in order of priority.
- Document Verification: Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents for verification:
- PUBDET 2025 rank card
- Admit card of PUBDET 2025
- Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)
- Photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.)
- Recent passport-size photographs

Overall, the candidate should pass Class 12 with 70% to 80% aggregate to be eligible for BSc at Presidency University, Kolkata. Since, the university accepts PUBDET scores for admission, the student should meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates should have cleared higher secondary examination Class 12 that is conducted by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam, not before 2020. The candidate must pass Class 12 with at least five recognised subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognised subjects.
