The PUBDET result was released on August 25 on the WBJEEB official website. The window to raise a query for the PUBDET score through email to info@wbjeeb.in closed on August 26 at 12:00 p.m.Β

PUBDET 2025 Counselling: General Rules About Documents
Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned rules carefully while preparing their documents for admission:
- Candidates must produce original documents for PUBDET counselling process, including confirmation page, admit card, rank card, caste/ category/ domicile/ income certificate, etc.
- The documents generated by the portal must be printed via the designated βPRINTβ link.
- Screenshots, photographs of the screen, images captured/stored by/in a mobile phone, etc., are not acceptable.
PUBDET Counselling Process: Important PointsΒ
All applicants must remember the following points while applying for the counselling session for PUBDET 2025:
- The confirmation page, admit card, and rank card will show the personal details exactly as entered by the candidate during the online application. The Board is not responsible for any mistakes if the candidate has entered incorrect information.
- All personal details are verified only by the allotted institute during counselling or admission.
- If a candidate faces problems during admission or later (because of incorrect information entered in the application), the Board cannot provide help or correction letters.
- Rank card and OMR images cannot be downloaded once counselling is completed. Candidates must keep these documents safe for future use.
- This facility to apply for a duplicate admit card, rank card, etc., is available only up to the end of counselling or 60 days after the result is declared.
- The candidate must apply with a processing fee of Rs. 500 per document, paid via bank draft in the name of βWest Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Boardβ, payable at Kolkata.

Students who are looking for admissions at the UG and PG level course, the student have to appear the entrance exams. For UG course, Presidency University, Kolkata has PUBDET and for PG courses, it has PUMDET. Since, the university is adhered to the entrance exam scores, there are no any other medium to get admission apart from this.
Presidency University of Kolkata is public state University so student can get admission directly aslo by direct contacting to the college and asking them about vacant seats and eligibility and also if some donation required for getting direct admission you have to confirm it directly by visiting University upto 60% seats are reserved for direct admission students here.
Overall, the candidate should pass Class 12 with 70% to 80% aggregate to be eligible for BSc at Presidency University, Kolkata. Since, the university accepts PUBDET scores for admission, the student should meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates should have cleared higher secondary examination Class 12 that is conducted by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam, not before 2020. The candidate must pass Class 12 with at least five recognised subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognised subjects.
