The examinations for final-year students will begin on June 20 and will end on July 10. The results will be announced by July end, the director of examination and evaluation, SPPU said.Â
SPPU Exams 2022: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced that it will conduct the term-end semester examinations from June 20 in offline mode. The University will conduct the examination in the traditional pattern as it was done before the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. There will be no reduction in the syllabus, the University informed.Â
Mahesh Kakade, director of examination and evaluation, said, “We are starting with examinations for final-year students on priority on June 20 and ending on July 10. Their results will be declared by the end of July. They would be given their results on priority as these children need them to apply for jobs and higher education courses. The exams for other than final-year students will start after June 20 and their results will be available by August-end.”
“The examination’s duration will be as prescribed for the subject and there won’t be any reduction in the time. We have already uploaded the question paper for five years so that students can go through them. We have also provided question banks so that students can practice MCQ-type questions. If there are faculties that have prescribed MCQ patterns for some part of the exam, then those students can utilize them. It is up to the faculty how they want the exam pattern to be. The pattern has been made aware to the students beforehand so that there is no confusion,” he added as reported by TOI
The timetable will be released soon and there will be no syllabus cut, he said, adding that it is not necessary that the questions will always be from or only from the question bank that was uploaded or the last five year's question paper.Â
