SPPU Exams 2022 to be held in online mode in phased manner
The university will conduct a regular and backlog of diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses examinations for eligible students in a phased manner between February-March.
Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has clarified that the examination in all the colleges affiliated with the University will be held online. It must be noted that the state's Department of Higher and Technical Education had given nod for offline examinations after February 15. Until then, the university has said it has decided not to make any changes as they have done all the preparations required for the online exams. The university will conduct a regular and backlog of diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses examinations for eligible students in a phased manner between February-March.
Dr Mahesh Kakade, Director, SPPU’s Board of Examinations and Evaluation, informed said, “The application process for the exams, which will be conducted online in February and March, has been completed and the schedule of some faculties has also been announced."
He further announced that students should not worry as the varsity will inform them prior to examination through SMS and e-mail. Students have to answer 50 out of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) correctly, 30 questions will be asked for Mathematics and Statistics in Science, first-year BCA (Science), and Engineering courses from which the correct answers to the 25 questions will be taken into consideration.
In case a student faces any technical interruption during the exam, then the timing of the exam will be automatically extended.
“The university has completed its preparations for the online exams. The university has successfully conducted online exams for the last two years and this year too the exams will be conducted in a rigorous manner. The schedule of all the faculties will be available on the website of the university in the next week”, Dr Kakade said.
