The three postgraduate students selected for the program are Aishwarya Rajput, MBA (First year), Institute of Management Studies, Jayshree Bhatt, MA (Psychology) First Year, Faculty of Social Sciences and Shreyash Jaiswal, MBA (First year), Institute of Management Studies.

Three BHU students to visit Japan for global management program

Three students from Banaras Hindu University will be visiting Japan for a five-day Global Management Program to learn about the international business and industry scenario and sessions with global market specialists. The three postgraduate students selected for the program are Aishwarya Rajput, MBA (First year), Institute of Management Studies, Jayshree Bhatt, MA (Psychology) First Year, Faculty of Social Sciences and Shreyash Jaiswal, MBA (First year), Institute of Management Studies.

As part of the program, these students will have the unique opportunity of interacting with global market specialists. The program is one of the key components of the recently signed MoU between Banaras Hindu University and World’s third largest and Japanese leading apparel company, Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. The arrangements for the five-day visit of BHU students to Japan will be carried out by UNIQLO, one of the largest brands of Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. The program is expected to take place in July 2022.

Congratulating the students selected for the Global Management Program, Prof. N. V. Chalapathi Rao, Coordinator, International Collaborations, said that the three-year cooperation between Banaras Hindu University and Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. opens a plethora of learning and professional opportunities for BHU students.

Earlier, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has cautioned the faculty members and staff against fake messaged that are being sent to them in the name of Vice-Chancellor Professor Sudhir K Jain asking to make online purchases. BHU in a tweet stated that “Fake messages are being sent to #BHU faculty members and staff in the name of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir K Jain from an unknown number asking to make online purchases. This is a trap. Please be alert & aware. DO NOT ENTERTAIN ANY SUCH REQUESTS & inform authorities."
