Colleges in Madhya Pradesh will now operate with 100 per cent capacity. With the decline in the number of COVID-19 cases, the Madhya Pradesh Education Department has decided to allow colleges and universities in the state to operate with 100 per cent attendance for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Madhya Pradesh Colleges and Universities reopened in the state with 50 per cent capacity from September 15, 2021. It should be noted that classes and mess arrangements will be made accordingly. 

To avoid the spread of COVID-19, it will be mandatory for both students and staff in colleges and hostels who are 18 and above to be vaccinated. The total number of people who have received both the doses of COVID-19 until now as per records is 8,64,90,269 people. The number of people who received both doses of COVID-19 vaccines is 5,11,11,382 people. 

As per the guidelines released by the Education Department, it is mandatory that both academic and non-academic staff who have not received both the doses of COVID-19 vaccines should be vaccinated. Principals of education institutions should ensure that the vaccination of the staff and the students is complete. Further, it should be noted that those students who have not completed 18 years of age, should be completely healthy to attend classes.

The attendance of the students will be accepted in colleges, Universities on the basis of the declaration form obtained by students. Along with the declaration form, the written consent of guardians or parents is mandatory.
