NID DAT 2025 (Prelims) exam on to held on January 5; Check details

The National Institute of Design will conduct the DAT Prelims exam on January 5. On the day of the exam, the candidate must bring their admit cards and photo ID proof.

NID DAT (Prelims) Entrance Exam 2025 will be conducted on January 5, 2025. The exam will be administered in a center-based mode in 22 cities across India. On exam day, the candidate must bring their admit card and proof of photo ID. Also, the candidate must reach the exam center on time because once the exam commences, the candidate may not be allowed inside the exam venue.

The DAT Prelims exam will be a paper and pen-pencil test. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours. The DAT Prelims question paper will include a mixture of objective and subjective questions.

Candidates who qualify in the exam will be eligible to appear in DAT Mains.

The final result of NID DAT 2025 will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

If the candidate hasn’t yet released the NID DAT 2025 (Prelims) admit card, they need to do it now without any delay.

The admit card will carry information like roll number, exam date and timings, reporting time, and exam-day guidelines.

Acceptable photo ID proof

The candidate can bring any of the following documents as a photo ID proof.

• Passport
• Voter ID
• PAN Card
• Aadhaar Card
• Driving License
• Attested (No photo provided ID) 

“Student ID - Current school/college" will not be accepted as an ID proof.
