NID DAT Prelims 2025 Result Rechecking
The National Institute of Design (NID) has opened the rechecking window for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims 2025 results. Candidates who wish to request a re-evaluation of their answer sheets can apply before February 18, 2025, by 4:00 PM. The National Institute of Design (NID) conducted the NID DAT 2025 Prelims exam on January 5, 2025 and the result for NID DAT 2025 (M.Des) was announced on February 17, 2025.
How to Apply for NID DAT Prelims Result Rechecking 2025?
Candidates can submit their rechecking requests through the official NID website (www.nid.edu). The process involves:
- Logging in to the admission portal using credentials.
- Selecting the rechecking option for the DAT Prelims result.
- Paying the prescribed rechecking fee.
Note: The fee for rechecking the NID DAT Prelims 2025 Paper for each discipline is INR 2000.
What Can Be Rechecked in NID DAT Prelims Result 2025?
- Only computational errors and unchecked responses will be reviewed.
- No re-evaluation of subjective answers will be done.

The NID DAT Prelims is the first stage for admission to B.Des and M.Des programs. Candidates who clear this stage qualify for the DAT Mains exam.
Candidates can check the result for NID DAT 2025 online following the link that will be given on this page. To check your result, follow these below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website of NID
- Click on NID DAT result link
- Enter the registered email address and date of birth.
- On successful log-in, the result of NID DAT 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the result.
Note that scores of DAT Prelims 2025 exam will be used to shortlist candidates for the next round (DAT Mains).
The FINAL result of NID DAT 2025 will be prepared by giving weighatge to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
The DAT Prelims results for the B.Des program will be open from April 1-2, 2025.
Prelims results for B.Des will be declared on April 1, 2025.
The application for re-check has to be submitted online.
The re-check will be limited to:
Whether all answers have been marked
Whether there has been any mistakes in totalling the marks in Part II and transferring the marks to the 1st cover page of the answer booklet.
