NIFT Application 2026
NTA has released the application form for NIFT 2026 today December 08, 2025. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply now. The last date to fill out the application form is January 06, 2026. NIFT 2026 application form is for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech and M.F.M. courses. The application fee for NIFT is INR 2,000 for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category and INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD Category.
The written exams of NIFT 2026 will be conducted on February 08, 2026. NIFT 2026 written exams comprise the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT).

How to Fill NIFT Entrance Form 2026?
NTA will release the application form online at the NIFT admission portal.
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria must apply for the exam following the process below.
- Register for the exam - To register for the exam, the candidate must first enter their Aadhaar number. Then enter personal details like name, email ID, and mobile number. On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form - Log in to the newly created account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select an exam center for the NIFT exam.
- Upload documents - In this step, you will have to upload documents like photographs and signatures per the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee - The candidate has to finally pay the application fee to complete the application process.
