NIFT Application Form 2026
NIFT 2026 Application is expected to begin soon for all the programmes at nift.ac.in/admission. Applications will be released for B.Des, B.F Tech, M.Des, M.F Tech and MFM Programmes. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria for each programme and then apply. NIFT application fee is expected to be around INR 3,000 for Open categories and INR 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories. NIFT Entrance Exam is expected to be conducted in the second week of February 2026. NIFT 2026 Information Bulletin and guidelines will also be released soon.

How to fill NIFT 2026 Application form?
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria must apply for the exam following the process below.
- Register for the exam - To register for the exam, the candidate must first enter their Aadhaar number. Then enter personal details like name, email ID, and mobile number. On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form- Log in to the newly created account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select an exam center for the NIFT 2026 exam.
- Upload documents- In this step, you will have to upload documents like photographs and signatures per the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee - The candidate has to finally pay the application fee to complete the application process

Self-attested copies of the following is required to fill NIFT Application form.
- Class X certificate (DOB)
- Class XII marksheet/certificate
- Bachelor’s Mark sheet
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s Mark sheet (If applicable)
- Master’s Degree (If applicable)
- Scorecard UGC-NET, CEED, CSIR (JRF) or equivalent (If applicable)
- SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS certificate - as applicable

NIFT 2026 Application form for UG and PG programmes can be out anytime. Students should keep their documents handy.
The NTA has released the admission schedule for the NIFT 2026 entrance exam, including the application dates. The last date to fill application will be in the first week of January 2026.
Candidates applying a late fee will have to pay an additional INR 5,000.
The candidate will be given the option to edit the NIFT 2026 application form in the second week of January 2026.
Using the NIFT application edit option, the candidate will be able to edit or correct some of the information in the application form. Some of the details the candidate can edit include name, date of birth, category, state domicile, etc. However, the candidate is not allowed to edit the exam city. The schedule for the application correction will be notified by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at its admission portal - niftadmissions.in.
