The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Interview Call Letters for Stage 2 of NIFT PG Admissions 2025. Candidates shortlisted for the postgraduate programmes — Master of Design (M.Des.), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.) can now download their interview call letters from the official portal. Candidates can download their interview call letter by logging in with their Application Number and Date of Birth. 

The Stage 2 Personal Interviews will be held in Delhi on the following dates:

  • May 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and

  • June 2 and 3, 2025

Interviews for the M.F.Tech. programme will be conducted only on June 3, 2025. Candidates must note that no requests for rescheduling or venue change will be accepted under any circumstances.

The Interview Call Letter contains crucial details such as:

  • Exact venue of the interview

  • Reporting time

  • Programme-specific schedule

  • Important instructions for the day

Q:   What will be the basis of NIFT 2025 seat allotment?
A:

The allotment of seats will be based on: 

  1. Choice opted at the time of counseling registration (academic programs + campuses)
  2. The category of the candidate
  3. Seat intake in the college opted for admission
  4. NIFT 2025 merit rank of the candidate. 

NIFT 2025 seat allotment process will be conducted in four regular and one spot rounds.

The 1st round of seat allotment will be declared around the 3rd week of June 2025. .

The counseling registration will be conducted in May 2025. 

Q:   When do I need to start my preparation for NIFT 2026 exam?
A:

The NIFT exam is among the competitive and is also considered among the toughest. So, it is recommended that the candidate starts their exam preparation early. NIFT exam has various components like written exam and Situation Test /Personal Interview. Candidates seeking admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses need to prepare for both the CAT and GAT. The CAT is a drawing-based exam. Now unless the candidate is already well-versed, the exam will be very difficult. So, start early. The same goes for the GAT.
