JEE Main 2026: National Testing Agency has already released JEE Main city intimation slip for session 1 candidates at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2026 city slip informs candidates about their city and exam date, helping them plan their travel. It must be noted that city intimation slip is not actual exam JEE Main 2026 admit card. It only informs about exam city and date, but no detailed centre address or shift morning or afternoon is mentioned on JEE Main hall ticket.

In JEE Main session 1 admit card 2026, candidates can check details related to them and exam. They must go through name spelling, photograph and signature, exam date & shift, centre address and other details mentioned in their JEE Main hall ticket 2026. They need to visit official website to download admit card.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Timeline: When to Expect NTA JEE Hall Tickets?

JEE Main admit card for January Session is expected to be released 3 to 4 days before each exam date. With Session 1 exams starting from January 21, candidates can expect that JEE Main 2026 admit cards will be available between January 17 and 20, 2026. However, there has been no official update regarding release date and time of JEE Main admit card 2026 for session 1 exam.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Details: What You Should Know

JEE Main city slip informs about city where exam centre is. However, exact address of JEE Main exam centre will be provided only on admit card. Apart from this, shift timings like morning or afternoon are also printed on JEE Main 2026 admit card and not on city slip. A common issue is candidates getting city slip without full centre details. They must note that JEE Main city slip is released earlier and detailed admit cards follow only a few days before exams.

What if candidates don’t get their JEE Main admit card on time?

JEE Main 2026 admit cards are released 3 to 4 days before each candidate’s exam date. Candidates must regularly check official website after January 15. Once out, they must download JEE Main hall tickets immediately.

Can candidates change their centre after JEE Main 2026 city slip is released?

Generally, requests for centre changes are not entertained after allotment. However, if there is a genuine reason like relocation for medical or official reasons, candidates must reach out to NTA early, before the admit card is released.
