AKTU to start registration process for vacant seats today

Eligible candidates can apply online on the official website at aktu.ac.in. Last date to register is December 15.  

APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will start the registration process to fill vacant seats that have been left after counselling process from today (December 1). Eligible candidates can apply online on the official website at aktu.ac.in. Last date to register is December 15.  

The university issued a circular regarding the same. It read, “After the counselling is over, pre-registration is to be done on the seats left vacant in the private institutions as per the academic calendar of the university like the previous year.”  

Candidates taking admission against the vacant seats are required to pay the registration fee. Those belonging to General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and other states categories and have appeared for UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling), JEE Main 2022, or National Testing Agency (NTA) exams are required to pay a registration fee of INR 1,000, whereas those belonging to Scheduled Caste (ST) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will have to pay INR 500. 

Candidates belonging to General, OBC and other states categories and have not take the above-mentioned exams will have to pay INR 2,300 fee, whereas SC and ST candidates are required to pay INR 1,150 for admissions. 

How to register for AKTU vacant seats  

In order to register for vacant seats at AKTU, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below.

• Go the official website of AKTU, aktu.ac.in  
• Click on the registration link available on the homepage  
• Fill out the registration form by entering the requisite details  
• Candidates will receive an application number with which they can open the dashboard  
• Pay the requisite fee and upload documents  
• Click on submit button  
• Save and take a print out of the form for future reference.
