AP EAMCET 2026 Engineering Entrance Exam Final Day Today; Results Expected by June 1

The AP EAMCET 2026 engineering entrance exam concludes today, May 18, with two final shifts. Organized by JNTU Kakinada, the CBT will wrap up for thousands of students. The preliminary answer key drops on May 23, and final results alongside rank cards are expected by June 1, 2026.

Agriculture stream test to start from tomorrow; Results Expected by June 1

The AP EAMCET 2026 engineering entrance examination enters its final day today, May 18, 2026. Conducted by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), this state-level entrance exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for engineering and agriculture courses.

The test will be conducted in computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for the engineering stream today. Thousands of engineering aspirants across the state are appearing for this final day of evaluation to secure admission into competitive undergraduate professional courses.

AP EMACET 2026 Engineering Shift Timings and Strict Protocols

Following the pattern of previous sessions, AP EAMCET 2026 is conducted in two shifts:

• Shift 1 (Morning Session): 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

• Shift 2 (Afternoon Session): 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Exam authorities have reinforced a strict "zero-minute late entry policy". Gates close exactly at 8:55 AM for morning batch and 1:55 PM for afternoon batch respectively, no candidates will be permitted inside after these cut-offs time. 

Aspirants are required to bring a physical copy of their AP EAMCET 2026 Hall Ticket along with valid photo identity proof. Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, and calculators remain strictly prohibited inside the exam halls.

Exam Overview & Next Milestones

The 3-hour test will comprise of 160 multiple-choice questions from Maths (80 marks), Physics (40 marks), and Chemistry (40 marks) and feature no negative marks. Early feedback from (May 12–15) shows an overall moderate difficulty curve with a particularly lengthy Maths section, candidates on final day are bracing for a similarly rigorous assessment.

With the engineering exams wrapping up today, the focus shifts to Agriculture & Pharmacy Streams commencing from tomorrow, running from May 19 to May 20, 2026.
