Big Change in JEE Main 2027 Registration; Digilocker MeriPechan or JanParichay Verification Mandatory to Appply

The NTA has started JEE Main 2027 registration process for session 1 exam. This year the registration process has undergone some changes. NTA has come up with a new system of verifying identities where candidates have to register themselves using one of the following digital services provided by the Government of India: DigiLocker, Meri Pehchan, or JanParichay.

Under the new JEE Main registration process, candidates will have to verify their identities and academic credentials through the use of the above-mentioned modes. The purpose of introducing this system will help reduce mistakes in the information provided by the candidates, will prevent fraudsters from filling in fake applications, and will help streamline the whole process of verification of documents.

In order to register for JEE Main 2027 Session 1, you can go to the official site of NTA - jeemain.nta.nic.in. After the completion of the identity verification, you can fill in personal and academic data, upload all the necessary documents, pay for the exam, and submit your application. JEE Main 2027 registration last date session 1 is November 22, 2026.

The session 1 of JEE Main 2027 will take place on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, 2027. It is advisable to register for the exam well before the deadline and to get ready for it in advance.
