BITS Pilani Convocation 2025: Goa Campus Celebrates 968 Graduates Across BE, MSc, ME & PhD
BITS Pilani hosted Convocation at its Goa campus awarding degrees to 968 students across BE, MSc, ME, and PhD programmes. In total, 17,014 degrees were conferred across all campuses including those under WILP.
BITS Pilani Convocation 2025
Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani celebrated Convocation at its Goa campus. Total of 968 students from BE, MSc, ME, and PhD programmes received their degrees at Goa campus. Across all BITS Pilani campuses, including Work Integrated Learning Programs, 17,014 degrees were awarded. This convocation was graced by presence of Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary to Government of India, Department of Science & Technology as Chief Guest, alongside Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao, Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani.
This year’s graduating cohort reflected BITS Pilani’s strong commitment to inclusivity, with 4,563 women earning degrees across all programmes and campuses, accounting for 26.8% of total graduates. At Goa campus, a record 48 women were awarded PhDs, making up 46.3% of doctoral recipients.

The placements are good at BITS Pilani. The placements are going on for the batch passing out in 2025. As per the latest report, the highest and average package offered to the MBA (Business Analytics) batch 2025 so far stood at INR 21.6 LPA and INR 14.63 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered so far stood at INR 14.64 LPA. The key highlights of BITS Pilani placements for the MBA Buisness Analytics Class of 2025 are presented below:

According to media reports, BITS Pilani campuses have recorded a rise of 32.62% in the median salary during the placements drive for the 2023 batch. BITS Pilani has not released the course-wise placement data for 2023. However, the median package offered during BITS Pilani placements for the 2023 batch stood at INR 30 LPA. Further, the overall average package offered was INR 30.37 LPA, during BITS Pilani placements 2023.
