BITS Pilani Convocation 2025: Goa Campus Celebrates 968 Graduates Across BE, MSc, ME & PhD
BITS Pilani hosted Convocation at Goa campus awarding degrees to 968 students. In total 17,014 degrees were conferred across all campuses
Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani celebrated Convocation at Goa campus. Total of 968 students from different programmes received their degrees at Goa campus. Across all BITS Pilani campuses including Work Integrated Learning Programs, 17,014 degrees were awarded. This convocation was graced by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary to Government of India, Department of Science & Technology as Chief Guest, alongside Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao, Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani.
This year’s graduating cohort reflected BITS Pilani’s strong commitment to inclusivity, with 4,563 women earning degrees across all programmes and campuses, accounting for 26.8% of total graduates. At Goa campus, a record 48 women were awarded PhDs, making up 46.3% of doctoral recipients.

BITS Pilani offers decent placements annually to its BTech students. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released for the batch 2025. According to the media report, 1700 students of the overall batch 2025 registered for 2025 placements, of which 924 secured job offers from reputed companies. The average package secured by the students of the BITS Pilani batch 2025 was INR 31.63 LPA.
