BITSAT 2014: Direct admissions for board toppers now open
The admission process of BITS ensures guaranteed admission to every student who obtains a first rank in their respective board examinations. Following the trend, the institute will now give direct admissions to first rank holders of all the central and state boards to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2014 score.
However, students should note that for direct admissions, they must have acquired minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB subjects with at least 60% in each of the PCM/PCB subjects in their 12th examination.
Also, the topper should be from the science stream and must have taken Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 12th examination. Moreover, the aggregate marks should include the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects, in addition to other subjects considered by the board as required to pass the 12th std examination.
Note:
- First rank holders in PCM stream will be admitted to any of the first degree programmes of his/her choice
- First rank student of PCB stream will be eligible for admission to B. Pharm. (Hons.) programme only.
Students must have acquired the minimum marks in PCM/PCB subjects in 12th examination, as described above.

- Students should send the completed application form along with the prescribed fees of Rs. 250/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft to Dean, Admissions, BITS, Pilani – 333 031 (Rajasthan).
- The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of BITS, Pilani payable at UCO Bank-Pilani (Code: 0150) or SBI-Pilani (Code: 11309) or ICICI Bank-Pilani (Code: 1538).
The last date for submission of the completed application forms is June 30, 2014(5 pm).
