BML Munjal University invites applications for Ph.D. Program

The cut-off date for application for the current call to the Ph.D. Program is March 31, 2024.

BML Munjal University (BMU) invited applications for admission to Ph.D. programmes in the School of Engineering and Technology (SoET), School of Management (SoM), and School of Law (SoL).

Types of Ph.D. candidates can be - Full-time, Part-time, Industry sponsored, Working professionals, Retired professionals, and Foreign candidates. The university research fellowship is INR 40,000 (per month) for the first two years and INR 50,000 (per month) for the last two years.

Out of 80 vacant PhD seats, 20 are university-funded for the current call. The university may not fill all the seats if suitable candidates are not found. The committee’s decision in this regard is final and binding. 

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria:

4 years Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale. OR

1-year/2-semester Master's degree after a 4-years/8-semesters Bachelor's degree or a 2-years/4-semesters Master's degree programme after a 3-year bachelor's degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale. OR

An equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution Candidates who are in their final semester (4 years Bachelor’s/ Master’s/ Equivalent qualification) can also apply provisionally subject to the submission of their degree with the aforementioned percentage.

Founded in 2014 by the promoters of the Hero Group of Industries, BMU is spread over a sprawling, green campus in the suburbs of Delhi.
