CEPT University Starts Registrations for BUILDSPAN 2025
CEPT University will host BUILDSPAN 2025 on Engineers’ Day, September 13, at its Ahmedabad campus. BUILDSPAN invites students to showcase their creativity, technical expertise and teamwork by designing and constructing model bridges under real world constraints. Who can participate in CEPT University BUILDSPAN 2025?
As per guidelines, competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from engineering, architecture, design and urban design programs. Participants can register in teams of up to four members, with registration fee of INR 4,000 per team. All entries will be reviewed by organising committee and bridge models will be evaluated by panel of experts. The winning team at BUILDSPAN 2025 will get a cash prize of INR 20,000.

With the theme “Engineering the Future: Build One Bridge at a Time”, BUILDSPAN 2025 – an initiative by the Faculty of Technology at CEPT University- is not just a competition but a platform for young innovators to test ideas, push boundaries, and celebrate the synergy of engineering and design. Participants have to design, build, and test bridges for strength, performance, and aesthetics using materials provided by the organisers.
Prof. Komal Parikh, faculty member and in charge of the event, said, “BUILDSPAN is designed to challenge young minds to think beyond textbooks, apply engineering principles to real-world problems, and experience the excitement of building something tangible. Through this competition, we aim to celebrate Engineers’ Day by nurturing creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.”

- The 1st step of UCEED 2026 counseling is online registration. The counseling registration process for UCEED will be conducted starting the 2nd week of March 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam and have been assigned a merit rank in UCEED were eligible to participate in the counseling process.
- The 2nd step is the selection of campuses. Eligible candidates must register for counseling and select their preferred colleges in order of priority during registration.
- In the 3rd step, seat allotment is made. The allotment of seats is as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED and the choices selected. Post the allotment of seats, the candidate has to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their admission.
CoA will not release the NATA 2026 counselling dates. No common counselling process will be held for NATA qualified candidates. For admissions, the candidates will have to individually apply to their preferred institute. The individual counselling dates will be prepared and released by the participating institutes. Candidates will have to check the counselling dates and apply accordingly to their preferred institutes.
