CET Cell Likely to Announce Tentative MHT CET 2027 Exam Schedule Next Week
MHT CET 2027 aspirants can expect the MHT CET exam schedule to be released shortly. Earlier today it was reported that the authorities will not be conducting the first attempt in December 2026. As per the latest update, both sessions of MHT CET 2027 exam for PCM and PCB will now be conducted between March and May.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra is expected to announce the MHT CET 2027 exam dates next week. Every year, the authorities release a tentative schedule for all the CETs in its upcoming academic year. Students will be able to check the MHT CET exam dates for both PCM and PCB groups for both sessions through the official notification. The tentative schedule will be released at cetcell.mahacet.org and will also be updated on Shiksha.com.
Earlier, the first attempt of MHT CET 2027 was planned for December 2026, while the second attempt was scheduled for April 2027. Following feedback from parents, counsellors and educationists, the State has decided against holding the first attempt of MHT CET 2027 in December. Both attempts are now expected to take place between March and May 2027.

The tentative schedule will mention the dates for various state-level entrance tests conducted for admission to undergraduate and professional courses in Maharashtra. Engineering aspirants will have to appear for the PCM group and pharmacy aspirants have to appear for the PCB group. The two MHT CET attempts will have a gap of around four weeks. The higher score obtained by a candidate across the two attempts will be considered for admission, as in the previous admission cycle. The revised schedule is expected to give class 12 students more time to focus on their board examinations before preparing for the state entrance test.

An official update on the MHT CET 2027 registration date is also awaited. The authorities will announce the registration dates after announcing the examination calendar. The State CET Cell conducts MHT CET for admission to engineering, pharmacy and other professional courses offered by participating institutes in Maharashtra.

No. There is no minimum mark required to pass the MHT CET exam. The only requirement to get the scorecard is to appear in all subjects of MHT CET and obtain a non-zero score.
From 2026 onwards, Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET exam twice a year in April and May. MHT CET 2026 exam dates have been announced for both April and May session exams.
