National Testing Agency will soon release JEE Main advanced city slip 2026 through which candidates can check their exam date and city, where centre will be located. It is expected that JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip will be released anytime soon.  Candidates can get JEE Main city intimation slip PDF link on official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. They have to use their login details application number and password to download JEE Main city intimation slip.

While waiting for the JEE Main city intimation slip, candidates must note that the city slip and admit card are two different things. Through JEE Main 2026 city slip, NTA allots exam city and also the exam date. However, the shift is not allotted to them. The shift allotted will be mentioned on JEE Main admit card. As per information available, it is likely that JEE Main 2026 hall ticket will be available for download 3 to 4 days before the scheduled exam dates.

How is Admit Card different from JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip? 

JEE Main city intimation slip informs about city where exam will be held in, but it does not provide exact exam centre address. It is released before JEE Main 2026 admit card and is mainly for planning travel or accommodation. In contrast, JEE Main hall ticket contains exact exam centre, date, time, roll number, and photo, and it is mandatory to carry to exam hall. JEE Main city slip tells about where exam will be, while admit card allows them to enter and appear for it.
