NTA JEE Main city allotment link is active. However, the link is currently not hosting the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip. The website displays "Advance City Intimation Slip Schedule will be available soon".

 With the city slip link now being generated, it is expected that the city and exam date allotment will be out anytime soon. Around 14.5 lakh candidates are anxiously waiting for NTA to allot the exam date and city for the exams scheduled to be held between January 21 to 30.

Once the city slip is issued, candidates can login at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password. Under the login, candidates can check the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip for the session 1 exam which will have the allotted exam date and city of the candidates.

The city slip serves as advanced information for the candidates about the city where they will have to appear for the JEE Main 206 exam. Although the city slip will not have the exam centre name and address, the city information will help candidates make travel arrangements to the allotted city beforehand. The exam centre name and address will be provided to the candidates with the JEE main 2026 admit card, 3 to 4 dats before the exam.

When and Where to Check JEE Main City Slip 2026?

NTA will host the active link for JEE Main session 1 city intimation 2026 on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. It is expected that the city intimation link will be activated today or by tomorrow. Officially, NTA has mentioned in the brochure that the advanced city slip will be out in the first week of January 2026.

Session 1 city slip link has already been generated, and therefore, it is expected that NTA will issue the city and exam date allotment letter soon.
