The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has extended the round 1 COMEDK 2025 counselling date. The authority has announced the revised COMEDK counselling schedule for round 1 activities on the website, comedk.org. Candidates can decide on the COMEDK round 1 allotment by August 4 (11 AM), while the reporting deadline for ’Accept and Freeze’ candidates is extended to August 4 (2 PM). The last date for seat withdrawal based on round 1 counselling remains the same, August 4 (4 PM).
The authority declared the COMEDK UGET 2025 round 1 seat allotment results on July 28. Based on the allotment results, students have to make a decision about their acceptance of the seat. Candidates have the option to ‘Accept & Freeze’, ‘Accept & Upgrade’, ‘Reject & Upgrade’ or ‘Reject & Withdraw’. With the COMEDK counselling schedule extended, candidates have more time to weigh their options.
Revised COMEDK 2025 Round 1 Counselling Schedule
The following schedule will be followed for the COMEDK round 1 counselling events:

Moreover, the Consortium has specified a few important points for the fee payment. These are as listed below:
- Total Fee has to be paid when choosing - 'Accept & Freeze' or 'Accept & Upgrade', or 'Reject & Upgrade'
- Only those who select the 'Accept & Freeze' option have to report to the college
- Candidates must report in person before the last date/time of reporting, or else they will lose their seat
- Candidates should check with the allotted college the timings for reporting to college on Saturday and public holidays.
The consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka started the COMEDK UGET counselling 2025 process at the official website from June 9 to 18. The last date for document verification was July 12. Applicants first had to complete the COMEDK UGET counselling registration 2025 using personal details. After successful registration, candidates have to pay the COMEDK counselling 2025 fee online. Applicants have to pay the registration fee online only through credit card, debit card or net banking. Any other payment mode (like RTGS, NEFT, Cash or Cheque, DD payments), will not be accepted. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct four rounds of COMEDK UGET counselling 2025. Applicants declared qualified are eligible to participate in the COMEDK counselling process 2025. Round 1 of COMEDK counselling 2025 is conducted for both general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However, round 2 is conducted for Hyderabad Karnataka region students only.
