COMEDK Counselling 2026: Round 4 Schedule Out; Choice Filling Starts on August 26

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the COMEDK UGET 2026 round 4 counselling schedule for engineering admissions. The final round of counselling will begin with the choice-filling process on August 26, 2026, at 4 PM. Candidates who are eligible for Round 4 can modify their preferences during the given window and participate in the final seat allotment process.
As per the schedule published by COMEDK, the Round 4 choice-filling window will remain open until August 28, 2026, at 4 PM. The Round 4 seat allotment result, along with the decision-making and fee payment process, will begin on September 1.

Who Can Participate in COMEDK Round 4?
Round 4 is the General Merit (GM) final counselling round. Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Rounds 1, 2 or 3 can participate. Candidates with an Accept & Upgrade or Reject & Upgrade status may also be considered for Round 4, subject to the counselling rules.
Candidates with a Reject & Upgrade status who do not want to continue into Round 4 can exit the counselling process during the prescribed window. Those who continue and receive a seat in Round 4 will have to accept and freeze the allotted seat.
No Seat Cancellation in Round 4
Candidates should exercise caution while filling their Round 4 choices as there is no seat cancellation option after Round 4. COMEDK has also stated that candidates allotted a seat in Round 4 under the applicable upgrade categories must join the allotted college. Failure to report can result in forfeiture of the fee and other penalties as per the counselling rules.
Candidates are advised to review their college and branch preferences carefully before submitting the Round 4 choice form. The Round 4 allotment will be based on the candidateβs rank, preferences and availability of seats.
