COMEDK Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025: Options for Decision Making
The decision-making process requires students to select one of the four options available to them. The following options are presented to the candidates who are allotted a seat in the counselling:
- Accept and Freeze: Satisfied with the allotted seat. Selecting this option means that the student confirms they will report to the allotted institute and do not wish to participate in any subsequent rounds. Once this option is made, candidates have to download their allotment letter and the fee payment receipt, and report to the college with the required documents.
- Accept and Upgrade: Satisfied with the allotted seat, but wish to participate in the next round. If in the next round, the student is allotted a higher option, then the earlier allotted seat will be cancelled automatically. In case no higher option seat is allotted, then the earlier allotted seat will remain in the candidateβs favour.
- Reject and Upgrade: This option is for not being satisfied with the allotted seat. Selecting this option means the candidate is rejecting the allotted seat but wishes to participate in the next round.
- Reject and Withdraw: This is for not being satisfied with the allotted seat and not wanting to participate in further rounds.
The last date to decide on the COMEDK round 1 allotment is August 1 (4 PM). Candidates who choose the 'Accept and Freeze' option must report to the allotted institute within this time. The COMEDK round 1 seat cancellation is available till August 4, 4 PM. The authority will release the round 2 COMEDK counselling date after the completion of the round 1 counselling process.
