CSAB NEUT round 1 seat allotment 2023 today @csab.nic.in
Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will release the CSAB NEUT round 1 seat allotment 2023 today at the official website - csab.nic.in.
Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB), earlier known as Central Counselling Board (CCB), is constituted by the Government of India to coordinate admissions to UG degree programmes in engineering, technology and architecture in NITs, IIESTs, IIITs and GFTIs. CSAB is all set to release the CSAB NEUT round 1 seat allotment 2023 today, July 18, 2023, at the official website - csab.nic.in.
Once the seat allotment result is out, the candidates will be able to see their result through JEE Main application number and password. After checking the CSAB NEUT round 1 seat allotment result through CSAB portal, candidates will need to accept the seat allotment, pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm the admission. Also, the candidates willing to participate in Special Round-2 can choose Float or Slide options.
The seat acceptance fee for candidates who have been allocated a seat for the first time in CSAB is INR 38,000 for General/ EWS/ OBC-NCL and INR 18,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Fee for candidates who have already been allocated a seat in JoSAA and CSAB and wants to accept the seat allotment of CSAB, there is no seat acceptance fee applicable.
CSAB 2023 Counselling Seat Acceptance Process
For accepting the seat, candidates must choose from the following:
- Freeze: It is for the candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotment and does not want to participate in Round 2.
- Slide: If the candidate is not satisfied and looking for a better course allotment in the same institute, they must choose ‘Slide’. In such cases, the allotted seat will be accepted and will be cancelled only if the candidate gets a better allotment.
- Float: If the candidate is looking for a better institute allotment, they must choose ‘Float’. In such cases, the allotted seat will be accepted and will be cancelled only if the candidate gets a better allotment in the second round.
