Discrepancies in JEE Main 2016 answer keys
CBSE released JEE Main 2016 official answer keys on April 18, 2016 ending all the speculations around discrepancies in the exam. According to the answer keys shared by the Board, there are two questions with two correct options worth five marks each. However, this is contrary to the instructions mentioned in the JEE Main 2016 question paper which said that there was only one correct option for each question.

The two questions in doubt are from the Physics section of JEE Main 2016. And these are question numbers 2 and 30 of SET E which has two correct answers - option number 2 and 4. The same questions in the other three sets too have the same discrepancies.
Though there is no official communication from CBSE regarding the marking scheme of these questions, but it is believed that the board is likely to award full marks for both the correct answer options. However, there also are speculations about the board awarding bonus marks to these questions.
Please note that the last date to challenge JEE Main 2016 responses in April 22 till 5pm. The fee for challenging the answer keys is Rs 1,000 per question which can be paid online. JEE Main 2016 scores are expected to be released on April 27, 2016.
