GATE 2022 application form: Registrations for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 with a late fee are ending today. Candidates, who did not fill the form till September 30, can apply for the exam only today at gate.iitkgp.ac.in by paying an additional INR 500 along with the application fee. The GATE application fee, including the late fee, is INR 2,000 for open category candidates and INR 1,250 for all others including female, SC, ST and PwD candidates.

IIT Kharagpur will also display defective GATE 2022 application forms on October 26 and allow candidates to rectify mistakes till November 1, 2021. The exam conducting authority will also make available another correction window (on payment of an additional fee) to change category, paper and examination city till November 12. GATE 2022 admit card will be released on January 3.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will conduct the GATE 2022 on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, at various test centres across the country. Any change in exam dates or dates for other exam related activities will be notified on the official website. The exam will not be conducted in foreign countries, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
