GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will end the GATE registration process with a late fee tomorrow: October 11, 2025. Candidates willing to appear for GATE 2025 must fill up the application form online at the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in by 11:59 PM. Further, the GATE 2025 application correction window link will be activated on November 6.

The GATE 2025 application correction window can be accessed by the registered candidates only. The application status will be updated after scrutiny by the respective zonal GATE offices. They can check the status of their GATE 2025 application anytime by logging into their account.

How to Apply for GATE 2025?

Candidates can complete GATE registration by tomorrow with the payment of late fee by visiting the official website. Those who are yet to apply can go through the steps to know how to fill GATE application form online:

  • Visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the APPLY NOW tab
  • Now, register for GATE by entering basic details
  • Further, login with Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password
  • Fill up the online form of GATE, upload the scanned images and pay the GATE registration fee
  • Submit and also save the form for future references

How to Add a Secondary Paper after submission of GATE 2025 Application Form?

If candidates have applied for one paper and submitted the GATE application form, then they can still add paper II by following the steps provided below:

  • Go to the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in
  • Click on the application form link at the GOAPS portal
  • Login with enrollment ID, password, and captcha expression
  • The application status page will appear on the screen
  • An option to add another paper is displayed on the screen
  • Click on the add paper option and select from the options for GATE Paper II.
  • Select the paper and pay the fee
  • Submit the GATE application form

Candidates can make the GATE fee payment via net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. However, additional online transaction charges may be applicable and will be reflected on the payment portal.
