IIT Roorkee has launched the official website of GATE 2025. GATE 2025 official website; gate2025.iitr.ac.in contains all important information related to the GATE 2025 exam. Check GATE Application fees before filling in the GATE 2025 application form here.

GATE 2025 Exam pattern released

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, The exam conducting authority has launched the official GATE 2025 website. Applicants can now visit the official GATE 2025 website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates can check GATE 2025 Syllabus, GATE 2025 exam pattern, GATE 2025 application fee and more on the website.

However, GATE 2025 Brochure has not been released yet, It is set to come out on August 2024. GATE 2025 registration dates will be released with the GATE 2025 information brochure. Candidates seeking admission to M.E/ M. Tech courses through GATE 2025 exam must visit the GATE 2025 website. GATE 2025 Exam pattern has been released on the website, candidates should check the GATE 2025 Exam pattern before filling out the GATE 2025 application form. Candidates can check GATE 2025 exam pattern below:

Check GATE 2025 Exam Pattern:

  • There will be 30 different subjects in the GATE 2025 exam.
  • The test papers will be in English. The mode of the GATE 2025 Exam will be Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
  • There will be 65 questions for 100 marks and the duration of the test will be 3 hours.
  • There will be three types of questions; Multiple choice questions (MCQ), Multiple select questions (MSQ), and Numerical value-type questions (NAT).
  • The GATE 2025 paper will be divided into three sections; General aptitude, Engineering Mathematics and Subject (Chosen by the candidate)
  • Questions will carry either 1 or 2 marks. There will be a negative marking of - 1/3rd in MCQ questions.
  • Distribution of Marks in papers AR, CY, DA, EY, GG, MA, PH, ST, XH and XL will be GA for 15 marks, Subject for 85 marks.
  • Except for above mentioned papers all other GATE papers will have 15 marks for GA, 13 marks for EM and 72 marks for subject.
