GATE 2027 application form date has been postponed again. Earlier, the registration for GATE 2027 was scheduled to August 14, which was further postponed to August 27. Students were expecting the link to go live from morning. However, due to some reasons, the organising body has again revised the GATE 2027 registration start date.

GATE 2027 Application Date Postponed: Why the Delay May Have Happened

There is no official statement yet from IIT Madras about a delay. In the past, GATE authorities have sometimes pushed release times by a few hours due to last-minute technical checks on the GOAPS 2027 system. This year, GATE 2027 has also added new steps like DigiLocker verification and facial recognition during sign-up, which could be causing extra load-testing before launch. However, the closing date of the GATE exam form remains unchanged.
