GATE 2027 Syllabus Changes in Civil Engineering (CE)
In civil engineering, the sections have been expanded from 7 to 8. In 2026, Construction Materials and Management was a sub-topic under Section 2 (Structural Engineering). In 2027, it has been moved and expanded into its own standalone section (Section 8: Construction Materials and Management). Here are some topics that have been deleted and added.Â
