IIT Guwahati has announced to release GATE admit card 2026 TOMORROW (January 2, 2026). Candidates can check below how to download GATE hall ticket through GOAPS portal, and documents you need to keep ready before the exam.
The GATE admit card 2026 download link will be activated tomorrow (January 2, 2026) on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Registered applicants must download their hall ticket to appear for the GATE exam, which is scheduled on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The authorities have already announced subject-wise exam dates with shift timings.

Steps to download admit card of GATE 2026
Students can access GOAPS portal for GATE admit card download following process below
- First, visit official website and click on applicant login
- Now you will be redirected to GOAPS login
- Enter enrollment ID and password with arithmetic expression
- Log in and download hall ticket
It is advised to go through all details carefully before. If there is any discrepancy or incorrect information, contact the helpline number for assistance.
How to retrieve GATE login credentials to download hall ticket
Incase, your login details are misplaced, it can be retrieved by selecting “forget credentials”. The only details needed is contact number and email ID. After entering this information, students will receive an OTP. Enter one-time password and retrieve candidate's login details.
Documents to keep ready for GATE exam
Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre -
- GATE 2026 admit card
- Valid ID proof
- Pen or pencil and
- Transparent water bottle
