After submission of application form for GATE 2027, students can check their status at candidate login page. The GATE application under scrutiny states your application status. During this stage, authorities will cross-check all the information given by applicants, such as personal, educational qualifications, photo, signature, etc.

Yes, third year students can also apply for GATE 2027. Candidates must check GATE eligibility carefully before filling GATE application form 2027.

The list of documents need for GATE exam form 2027 include:

• Valid ID proof

• Scanned photo and signature in JPEG or JPG format

• Category/PwD/Dyslexic certificate

IIT Madras have activated GOAPS portal for GATE 2027 exam form registration. Candidates can visit gate2027.iitm.ac.in to apply.

• Must be in 2nd/3rd/4th year of integrated programme (5-year programme, BTech + MTech)

• Candidates in their 4th or 5th year of the dual-degree programme (BTech + MBA) can also apply

The mode of GATE registration is online and is completely done at GOAPS. To apply, the first thing the applicant has to do is:

• Link DigiLocker account to fetch necessary details for GATE exam form.

• Once enrolment ID and password is created, candidates have to fill their personal and academic details

• Also, candidates have to complete live photo verification process for authentication

• Once the above steps are completed, upload documents and pay GATE 2027 examination fees.

• Submit and download GATE application form

IIT Madras will open exam form for registration at 7:00 pm TODAY. Candidates who want to apply for MTech or PhD admission can apply and submit GATE form before GATE 2027 registration last date. 

For GATE 2027 registration, candidates can select six GATE exam cities for application form filling. 

GATE GOAPS 2027 portal will be activated on or before 7:00 pm TODAY. Through GOAPS, candidates can link DigiLocker and complete the application process. After submitting GATE exam form, they can also check application status. 

The registration last date for GATE exam form 2027 is 

• Last date with regular fees - September 27, 2026
• Last date with extended fees - October 5, 2026

IIT Madras have updated important instructions regarding DigiLocker account for GATE 2027 registration. The guidelines can be checked below:

• Candidates must have an active verified account on DigiLocker with a verified email address.

• Mobile number must be associated with DigiLocker. It must be active to receive OTPs.

• Candidates are advised to create a separate "GATE2027" folder inside the DigiLocker drive to upload required documents, if any.

• Do not close or refresh the authentication window until the redirection process completes.

Indian nationals appearing for GATE 2027 must create or update their DigiLocker account for GATE exam registration 2027. Also, one have to provide their facial details for authentication purposes.
