GATE 2027 application date: IIT Madras GATE 2027 application form will open on GOAPS 2027 portal on or before 7:00 pm on September 2, 2026 (TODAY). The date was officially announced today at gate2027.iitm.ac.in. As of now, registration link is not active. Candidates who are in 3rd or final year or have passed out in engineering, technology, science, architecture or arts and humanities background can apply before GATE 2027 registration date.

Candidates can find GOAPS 2027 link for application on the official website. The portal has already been created. GOAPS link will be generated at gate2027.iitm.ac.in. Once the portal is open, candidates can opt for GATE exam registration.

GATE 2027 Application Date: What Candidates Must Do Now
Before logging into the GATE GOAPS 2027 portal, candidates must create or update their DigiLocker account. The details, such as name, email ID, mobile number, verified ID, etc. will be fetched from GATE 2027 DigiLocker account. In addition, IIT Madras have also mentioned creating a new folder in DigiLocker as “GATE2027” and uploading the required documents that is needed for the GATE registration 2027.

As of now, there is no change in GATE application form 2027 last date. The last date to apply with regular fees is September 27, 2026 and with late fees is October 5, 2026. IIT Madras GATE 2027 is scheduled to take place on Feb 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027.
