GATE 2027 New Registration Date Announced: When to apply of GOAPS Portal

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras have updated the revised GATE 2027 registration date. The application link will be activated on or before 7:00 pm, Today (September 2, 2026) Candidates who are in their 3rd year/final year/passed out graduate in engineering or science or technology or architecture or arts or humanities branch can fill out their GATE 2027 exam form as per the schedule. 

What is the new GATE 2027 registration date?

The GATE registration will start on September 2, 2026, as per the official update. Candidates must update their DigiLocker account before filling the form. The last date to apply remains unchanged, which is September 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026. 

How to do GATE 2027 Registration at GOAPS portal

The mode of GATE registration is online and is completely done at GOAPS. To apply, the first thing the applicant has to do is:

• Link DigiLocker account to fetch necessary details for GATE 2027 registration

• Once enrolment ID and password is created, candidates have to fill their personal and academic details

• Also, candidates have to complete live photo verification process for authentication

• Once the above steps are completed, upload documents and pay GATE 2027 exam fees.

• Submit and download GATE application form

Candidates must complete all steps properly to avoid cancellation. Once the form is submitted, candidates can login to GOAPS portal and check their application status.
